Ms. Ramirez  has taught, published and consults on international criminal law topics including foreign evidence and extradition matters. She served as Editor for Cultural Issues in Criminal Defense, 2nd and 3rd Ed. (2007 and 2010), Juris Publishing, considered the leading treatise for criminal defense lawyers representing immigrants in US courts. She is an NACDL Life Member, a current member of the NACDL Champion Advisory Board, and has served as a member of the Fulbright Specialist Program Discipline Peer Review Committee. 

Her art gallery the Feathered Serpent Gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida, co-sponsored events with the Embassy of Honduras, and the Consulate of Mexico in Orlando. .

Linda has a B.A. degree in Public and International Affairs from George Washington University (1975) and a J.D. from Willamette College of Law (1981). She has practiced state and federal law in Oregon and Florida and her law firms in Oregon, and then Florida, have represented hundreds of foreign nationals in criminal and civil cases. She was a consulting attorney to the Mexican Consulate in Portland, Oregon, was on the roster of Fulbright Senior Specialists.
